TIPS ON WHAT TO TAKE ON YOUR CUBAN TRIP.

Cuba is a Tropical Country, with high humidity and therefore one should be prepared. Put on your best comfortable walking shoes for there’s going to be plenty of places to see. -Wearing flip-flops is like asking for a sprained ankle—- Clothing should be simple cotton if possible and hat to shade the sun—-Men shorts accepted but you will need long pants for evening wear—- a small backpack highly recommended rather than a purse… toilet paper/wipes, bottled water, sun lotion, hand sanitizers, some snacks are items to be included when packing.

CURRENCY: AVOID the use of the $usd … THERE IS AN EXTRA 10% CHARGE FOR THIS CURRENCY. CANADIAN $ OR EURO MORE ACCEPTABLE WHICH CAN BE CONVERTED INTO CUBAN CURRENCY.

The Month of February not only Love month but brings the commencement of Cultural festivals. Holetown Festival start just after valentines followed by AgroFest which showcases locally grown produce, animals children play area food courts and much more.
You can also look forward the Oistins Fish Festival during the Easter season and Holders Season during the month of March. Horse Lovers look out for Gold Cup around the 2nd Saturday in March. During the months of July and August, experience the true culture of the island during the Crop Over Festival. This annual festival celebrates the end of crop season with numerous fetes, shows and cultural displays which culminate in a spectacle of colour, music, and dance on Kadooment day.
